I have thought of one often in spite of all the bad stuff regarding accuracy .I am not sure I will ever have romance with my leftie AR !

Not I. Bought a new Ranch Rifle in the '92-'93 time frame. Chose the Ruger over a new Left Hand .243 BDL because of the price difference. And then spent 2x the price difference trying to find ammo that would shoot accurately in the Ruger. They may be better now. However, not on my dime...

Not me. Had a lefty Stag and was glad to send it down the road. Friend had a Mini 14, and I'd never own one of those either
Get even a budget level bolt and it will outshoot either any day.
