Please holler at me if you know where I can buy a new CVA Scout V2 Compact in 6.5mm Creedmoor. This is the one with a 13" length of pull and a 22" long barrel. New or like new preferred.
Thanks in advance,
Mark

Thank you for the tip, Oldelkhunter. All Sportsmans is showing in the Hunter Model. Do you think they's have one that wasn't listed on their website?
Thanks again,
Mark

Doesn't look like they make that model yet. Here's the only one shown, which has a 24 inch barrel. Cheapest on Gunbroker

I think you're right HilhamHawk. I was just hoping to catch a leftover. There are 24 inchers around which would be fine. Just thought the 22" with the shorter LOP would be perfect for me. Thanks for the Gunbroker tip.

I did not find one, petespistol. It would be a fun rifle, wouldn't it?
I did buy a CVA Scout V2 in 350 Legend. Super accurate! Cannot wait to deer hunt with it next fall.

350 Legend? I have only just learned about that cartridge not needed for me but sounds fun. Good to hear the Scout is accurate, if I get one in 6.5 it would be sad if it wasn't accurate. I still haven't found one that sends to me in Alaska and our local gun dealer doesn't stock the 6.5 model. Out of curiosity do you have an accurate weight on the gun? The weight range is pretty large as 2019 catalog has weights from 5.8-7.5 pounds and the 2020 catalog says the scouts weigh between 6.3-7.5 pounds but the catalog doesn't show the 6.5 Creedmoor model because it is a dealer exclusive. Not sure if the 350 legends needs a larger barrel but if I get a weight straight from you it would be an actual weight and not a range of more than a pound...

Pete,
Mine weighs 7 lbs. with a Game Reaper scope mount and a Redfield Revolution 2-7x33 scope on it.
Shoots 170 grain Hornady and 180 grain Winchester factory ammo with all holes touching at 100 yards.
I have it sighted in 1-1/4" high at 100 yards so out to 150 yards it is never more than 1-1/2" high or lòw. And it still has about 1,000 lbs. of energy at 150 yards.
Very low recoil and muzzle blast.
Perfect for lots of the SW Missouri deer hunting I do in the timber. For the bean fields I have my 7mm-08.
Pure fun!
