Just received "The Message" from Tim Olt, my new Jerry Fisk "Sendero" is ready to ship next week! grin

I asked Tim to use the same Black Buffalo horn material as all the other knives I have from him are made with......can't wait to see it!

I have always admired Jerry's designs, but can never afford an original. I have a Fisk "Southwest Bowie" made by Camillus in their "OVB" (Our Very Best) series with Desert Ironwood. Love the handle on that knife....Desert Ironwood is perfect for knife handles in my opinion!

Frog---OUT!

Same here. I'd like to get a look at that one, too.

Jerry was kind enough to put a convex grind on this knife before he sent it to me. Much appreciated BTW.

Froggy's knife will be along the Sendero Classic lines with my twist.

Don't get your panties in a bunch-----not that big of a twist, just my work.

Sweet. Looking forward to seeing the final product. I've had 2 of Jerry's knives, and 2 tributes from Terry Primos, who was an apprentice to Jerry who dropped out of the knife game because he needed to make a living. I also spent a couple of hours with Jerry at the 2003 or 2004 BLADE SHOW where he was as cool and gracious as anyone could be, despite being named a "living treasure"...pretty heady stuff!!
