As an Independent his only leverage is to threaten the democrat party that he’d run as a 3rd party candidate.
Any way you cut it that’s a big lever he’s packing around with him.

Biden got into the campaign so they could use the Ukraine phone call against Trump and say he was investigating his opponent. Sanders is an independent not a democrat. Can't have a non-democrat representing the democrats. Right now my money would be on Bloomberg.
