I just got back from a boat based bear hunt.My bear squared 7'1" and was a cinnamon color phase.The other clients was 6'8" and was also a cinnamon.I used my 338 Win Mag in a stainless classic with 2.5x8 Leupold VXIII B&C reticle shooting 230 grain failsafes.I shot the bear at 16 yards quartering to me.My bullet hit behind the shoulder and came out the back hip.We both shot our bears the first day.The outfitter did an excellent job,the food and the boat was excellent.I was so impressed I booked a Mtn.Goat hunt with him for 09.I am going to start trying to also book some hunts for him.The price will be the same from me or him
direct.I will try to post some pics.I have not figured out how to do this yet.If someone will post them for me I will email them.Thanks I look foward to being a member of the forum.

It was a boar.I have no idea what it weighed.It was all 4 of us wanted to get it in the skiff.What do you guys think it's spring and fall weights would be?
