I came across this load it mentioned using 2 balls and 90gr powder, the balls were supposed to hit about 4" apart at a 100 yards. Anybody here try it? How about the old buck and ball loads do those work too? Thanks

Here in Kentucky we are limited to a single projectile and I would think that would be true in most jurisdictions. I have heard some of the oldtimers talk about double balling at fun shoots. The idea was to break two ballons with a single pull of the trigger.

My concern with the buck and ball load, if you are using a s/s shotgun, would be the ball loosing contact with the powder which could cause a dangerous situation.

miner luke you read my mind. I have for the past couple weeks been thinking about the same thing. I don't know why, a single round ball has always been a very good game getter for me.
May have to give that a try at the range, for the hell of it.
