Definitely a different looking coyote. His fur looks like he got caught in a brush fire. Long legged bugger but it may be the camera angle. Good job!

Is it rutting season for polecats right now or something? I’ve seen dozens on the roads in the last two weeks and lots of them run over together two or three at a time.

The kits are being thrown out/leaving to establish their own turf. Every spring, about now, I see multiple groups of weanlings - usually 4 to a group ('til they get run over on the roads around here - letting us appreciate their presence for quite a while )
