Try the image gallery section here on 24 hcf . You just attach it then post the link here . It’s not as professional as the image hosting way buy will work.

I like the 7x57, but there's nothing magical about it. I own one as well as a 280 and 30-06. All about the same in the end.

It's the package (rifle) that usually makes them interesting.

There's something about the name of that cartridge that rings just right. Seven by fifty-seven. I've been working with a few for a while and if I hadn't got stove up four days before leaving for my annual elk hunt I'd have found out just how good it would be for elk. I'm thinking one of two loads, the 150 gr. Nosler Partition at 2800 FPS or the 160 gr. Speer Hot Core at 2600, maybe 2650 FPS. I don't like shooting much past 250 to 300 yards so should be good to go.

I have heard Winchester model 70 FW and Ruger 77 Tangers make good platforms for the 7x57. 😎

Thank you, roundoak, for the list of references on the 7X57!

Pretty wood!

The first 2 rifles that I bought after graduating from college were a pair of Ruger 77s in 257 Roberts and 7x57. I still have the 257, now it has an AI chamber, but got guilted into donating the 7x57 to an African church mission.
