Also what compact table top tripod would be a good match for this spotting scope?This scope will be used mainly(90%) for rifle range ...100-300 yards.....Thanks in advance I don't always venture out into the sub-freezing darkness, but when I do, it is deer hunting season, and I carry a Remington. Stay hungry my friends.

I took it out 30mins before sun rise and was extremely pleased with its performance. It darkens a little at 36 power up to max, but it's still useable. I think it out performs the 50mm vortex razor.

It is at least as good as the 65mm Version of the Razor HD as well. It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

With 60%+ more lens surface area and 12x more power what do you expect it to do? Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.
