No one in XFL been arrested yet or beaten their wife. They did throw up some points. I was Bored so I watched 20 mins and fell asleep as well.

I think for this to succeed they will need to have funding for 3 years and they are going to have to raid the college ranks. Get a kid that has played college ball for one year, throw him 6 figures and get people watching him
I don't think they aren't going to be profitable for awhile.

I haven't watched any of their games but I did quickly skim through their rule changes. They want to speed up the game while still getting in the same number of plays as an NFL game. They've shortened the play clock, shortened half time to 10 min (no more boring half time shows), and on incomplete passes they start the clock when the ref spots the ball. There are quite a few other small changes, too. For a couple examples, a receiver only has to touch any part of his body inbounds on a sidelines catch. 1 foot or 1 hand will do it. A receiver can catch a forward pass and as long as he hasn't crossed the scrimmage line, he can throw it again for a 2d forward pass.

But are they kneeling for the MY national anthem? I quit watching the NFL for that reason. Haven't watched since the first day they did that.
Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money but we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money. What's interesting is the first group WORKED for their money but the other group didn't.
