ELDs are good if you shoot a thin paper target and compensate with BC for other inferiorities. Ignorance is bliss. How many critters have you killed with ELD’s to arrive at that conclusion? And a sample of one ain’t much of a sample. Do you shoot and hunt in open country at all, or are you limited in your perspective and judging all by east woods standards? ZERO and never will. That's everything I know. Thanks.

While you’ve been lying and trying the last couple days, I’ve had (1) bear, (3) coyote dogs within the 400 yard gong, “out back”, 2 dead coyotes, and lotsa yard work done.. J, easy winter so far, makes work a lot less work! Back to the topic at hand. 223 head on about 50 yards a couple weeks ago. If'n I was super cowboy I would have tried to rope the ol' bitch but it's way to icy and she did have her(three chances) to get loaded up. Executive decision.......grin Took a run at my old man and his arm is still solid purple. I'm getting a 28 inch barreled 7.5 twist 6.5 Swede built right now, snagged a 3-12x44 LRTS scope for it from Camerland, Lapua brass and either the 142gr RDF, 142gr ABLR, 147 ELD or 150gr SMK bullets for coyotes, deer and pigs out to 700 yards here at the house.
