It's important to point out that socialism is an economic system, while communism is the form of governance that is dependent on socialism.

and both are proven to be abject failures.

If those who produce the goods and services have the proceeds confiscated, how long do you think you will have the goods and services. That's when the guns have to come out. It fails because the entire system goes agains human nature. Anyone who says they can make it work is a truly delusional narcissist, or more likely lazy tyrannical con artist.

It is indeed counter to all human nature. It assumes that everyone with talent and drive will continue to produce things that will be confiscated and given to those who do squat. But what happens is that before long, the producers quit producing and simply put their own hands out. Nothing made, nothing to redistribute. System collapse.

Realize this: In a system that has to "tax the rich" there can be no rich. Everybody is poor. Who would desire that?

And, as I point out regularly to my Chicom bride, an election with only one candidate ain't really an election, a fact that she and her 1.4 billion countryman understand very well; they just keep it to themselves if they're smart.

That's it in a word. He thinks you are too stupid to run your own life and that government can do it better. Communist and Democrat are now interchangeable words.

Also, the top dogs end up with all the goodies, just like in all systems, and the ones leading the charge on the Left figure on being in that crowd: politicians, academics, and media/entertainment types.

Bernie, is a con artist that has made millions selling his BS.

If he was a Socialist would he not share his fortune with the masses ?

Greatest problem with Bernie is our Education system, it has been part of the take over of America for decades.
They have created a voter base that will VOTE THIS [bleep] IN.
