Didn't know a Model Seven was ever offered w/an 8tw barrel .

I’m pretty sure you are correct, I have 3, 1 blued and 2 stainless and I’m pretty sure they’re 9 twist.

I could be wrong as I haven't actually had one in my hands. I've found conflicting info on which twist they actually have. Midway lists them with an 8 twist as do a few other retailers but I've also seen them listed with a 9 twist. So who knows..

Researched it , according to the Remington website - the new Model Seven 260 does have an 8tw. barrel .

And there's talk on other gun forums of the annoucement of the 8tw. barrel .

Mine shoots 140gr. Speer hotcores inside an inch so the slower twist is ok by me but i'd not complain with an 8 .
