When I didn't have the filters at work blocking me, I did a quick search and found there are SA only conversions available too. I'd love to give a 97 a try because the 45 is my preference, but was thinking about a 75 because I don't own a 9mm. Might have to do both and maybe a 1911 in 9mm or 38 super for giggles too.

The 97 is a very comfortable pistol to shoot, but it's a boat anchor. The one I had was accurate and reliable.

At our shop, the P01 outsells the PCR by quite a bit but I've never understood it. Nobody puts a light on the rail and the PCR is a much better looking gun.

They look almost the same, except for the length of the frame's dust cover.

So pcr is identical to the compact other than the 4oz. Less weight due to alloy instead of steel?

I like the look of the P01. I've never had a weapon mounted light, but could see it on the gun on my nightstand.

The dustcover on the P01 is also fatter.

I need to get my hands on a 97. Love my 1911, but the cz75 fits like it grew there. The 97 the same?

Same for the 97B. It IS a handful though, girthy. But damned comfortable and accurate. But also as has been said, heavy. smile You can definitely use as a bludgeon if she runs dry.

The PO1 is alloy too but weighs a bit more than the PCR. They're great guns. The Canik clones imported by Tristar are superb as well.

The Omega gives you either option and comes with the parts needed. The Omega trigger is simpler and more robust, according to CZ, feels better, according to me, and costs a couple of dollars less.

Mine came with checkered rubber grips that are very comfortable, with slight palm-swells.

What fresh Hell is this?
