I just pulled some video off the security cameras from a couple days ago. The whitetails suddenly converged on the pasture behind the house and started a feeding frenzy right at sunset. Link is here: Whitetail Feeding Frenzy

Maybe they're sensing some bad weather coming your way, Shaman?

Maybe they're sensing some bad weather coming your way, Shaman? Yes. It would be nice to know what weather was coming in.

I checked with the NWS, and it matches my recollection.
It had been rainy on and off since 0700. Temps had been dropping from 48 @ 0900 to 36 at midnight. There was no wind after 1100. Similar conditions persisted into the next day.
This was just a typically miserable February day in the Trans-Bluegrass. I'm not sure why the deer suddenly decided to hold a convention.
