Nice pictures. The patent date and the fact that Savage dropped the 1899 designations might narrow the answer. Guessing late 20's.

I would say late teens early 20's, but that is just a WAG on my behalf.

300 Savage was introduced in 1920-21 so this together with all the other info would narrow it down to about 1921 to 1923. Those are really cool boxes.

300 Savage introduced in 1921. So you’re down to 3 years,. 1921-1923. Love the boxes.

As fishdog pointed out there is a patent date of Oct. 21, 1924 on the box, so it can’t very well have been earlier than 1924.

As stated above...patent date of Oct. 21, 1924 on the box.
Peters moved to Kings Mill, Ohio in 1932.
I would guess the boxes are more mid-20's.
