I've been buying Leupold scopes since I could afford them, about 30/35 years. Some scopes adjusted pretty accurately, some didn't but were close enough to where I could get zeroed without too much trouble. I've got a 2017 mfg. 2-7 VX2 that's like trying to win the lottery getting it to be close to the advertised 1/4" clicks at a 100 yds when trying different ammo. Sometimes it's 8 clicks to move poi an inch, sometimes a lot less, sometimes a lot more. Finally replaced it with a 1987 Leupold 2-7 with friction adjustments, not as fast to zero as good clicks but a lot faster than the 2017 VX2.

Anyone here sent a scope back to Leupold in the past few years for bad tracking and got it back working as it should.

As a side note I've got a $70 Bushnell Banner that adjusts perfect, move the poi where you want it it's there?

Problem I had with leupold and why I went to nightforce. Use to send my 8.5x25 LRT back about every year as the more you turn the turrets the worst the tracking got, got 13 lrt in the drawer that needs to go back and when I get them back it's time to sell them off. I stopped using leupold on my guns the I twist knobs. Alot better scope out there if you turn knobs

keep in mind leupold was confronted with the tracking problem here. They basically said there isn't a problem. so if that is the case what is the likely hood the scope gets fixed correctly

Clearly, you have the adjustments maxed out, don't know what you're doing, and are a bad person.

Shame on you for complaining!

Just send it back. The erector is bad. Tell them it won't hold zero. They know this happens sometimes. I've sent scopes back to have the reticles changed and had them replace erectors that I didn't know were bad.

You wish.

The secretary, not so much.

The secretary, not so much.

She probably did something very bad in a former life and deserves it...

Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.
