My financial advisor is shorting the market. He says there are many warning signs that a major downward correction is imminent. Essentially the stock market is overvalued. While I want to make money, I hope the correction holds off until after the November election.
Will the public be so keen on Trump if the market has a major correction pre-election?
I would like to think so, but the Democrats and their slimy MSM are very good at propaganda.

I would like to think so, but the Democrats and their slimy MSM are very good at propaganda. I have no insight to the market, but my stock is growing at an unworldly rate. Last year 25%, and since 01/01/20 is is presently at a 21% annual rate. That seems too good to be true. This crazy growth does not make sense to me. Personally I am putting most of my new investments into a 3.2% security for a while. Like everyone else I hope this fairy tale is true, but we live in realty. A correction would make sense in the long term to prevent inflation. Corrections provide stability in value, and for the most part benefit everyone. I have not retired yet, but I enough in non-stock based funds to last a 10 years downturn, and I think that is wise. Easy to predict a downturn when we are at a peak. It is always cyclical. My plan is to have enough to weather the inevitable downturn, and refill the safe kitty on a high node.
