Just got a sample ballot and found a few things i was surprised about.

Prop #1
Texas should not restrict or prohibit prayer in schools
Prop#2
Texas should reject restrictions on the right to keep and bear arms
There are some in there that deal with the re sexing of kids.

Prop #7 deals with the Alamo protecting and preserving monuments, artifacts and buildings and re imaging of the Alamo site

Just thought some might like to see this.

In Austin they word it in such a way you need a translator to tell if
you are yea or nay. Political goole-de-goop.

Sample ballots are good because you can read it at your leisure and then think about what it says. Of course there is always the danger of the sample ballot not saying the same thing the real ballot does.

Isn't that one bucking federal law?

The propositions on the republican primary ballot are opinion polls only.

They are resolutions to let the GOP focus on issues. They have no force of law.

Here's the entire list.

What's up with the "should not"? That's like a freaking suggestion. "Will not" would be the language to use.

Dimocraps have to trick people to get their vote.

Slaves get what they need. Free men get what they want.

Rehabilitation is way overrated.
