China is calling on tech and other large firms to help track the virus and those who may have been exposed or are hiding with symptoms.
-Tracking phones to see who has been where...
-Monitoring who has bought flu medicine...
-Facial recognition
-Thermal Cameras (tied to the above)
Any thing they can do.
The question becomes once the virus issue is solved how many of these monitoring techniques go away?
Kind of like taxes, once the government is getting the data will they give it up?
A good learning experience to see how a (socialist) government increases its control of the people...
