I won’t even consider Krypek based on principal alone. I’m sure they have some great product and would like to test a few pieces. But I don’t understand their obsession with all of the complex, BS, run together, indistinguishable, nonsense nomenclature in the naming of their gear. I get “tired head” about 60 seconds into their website. The millennial marketing guys are handcuffing the brand ...Note to Krypek..it’s not cool...it’s stupid...#oldguywholikesgoodgear...

Life is too short to wear ugly camo, I'll stick with KUIU! I typically wear solid pants and camo jackets, depending what I'm doing. Solids are nice for off season around town and hiking and help justify the price. Some of the most expensive clothing I own is camo and sits it the closet most of the year. KUIU is good about weight too and if you travel by air, they are becoming more and more strict regarding weight of checked and carry on luggage. I have an international trip coming up in March and going "carry on" so weight and packability goes a long way.

Anyone need an attack pant?
I have one in Vias, 32, that I’m going to stick in the classifies. Just thought I’d put this up here first, given the kuiu discussion.

I don't have a lot of Kuiu gear, but the few items I do have I really like.
Their Yukon gaiters are top notch and the best tall gaiters I've ever used.
I also have their Peleton 97 hoody and zip off bottoms- Elfin magic of some sort to have fleece layers w/ hoods and zippers and still weigh under 6 oz!

I love my Kryptek Vellus jacket and pants in Highlander. I layer underneath depending on conditions.
I wear the Vellus jacket with Vellus or Cadog II pants. I also like my KUIU Guide pants, along with my Cabelas Wooltimate pants and coats.

So I've slowly been picking up some Kuiu attire and just jumped into the Ultra series packs. I like the design and fit. Anyone also drink the Kuiu cool aid? Looking for experiences. Good and bad. Thanks. My brother-in-law has, but I before First lite so far for out terrain. He lives in MN.

Kuiu makes excellent stuff - especially when you catch it on sale. My only complaint is that the sleeve diameter could be expanded to better aid in layering.
