Durnit, I don’t Facebook. I tried to Google Image his name and found everyone BUT him.

Some of his BS stories and scams were legendary. He was consistently good entertainment value.

Why would anyone follow/friend him on any social media platform for any other purpose than to out him and his crooked scams?

Maybe that's what they did. OTOH there were a lot of people here taken in by his crooked scams and not personally effected by them, that turned a blind eye and still think he's okay. Seems about the same as folks who continue to think S Head is okay despite clear proof that he's not.

Awwwww...... all these years later and you still miss me!

I had heard this thread existed and I was encouraged to pop in and say hello.

As a few of you who follow me on FB know, I had a rough few years of late with medical stuff, just had a quadruple bypass with aeortic valve replacement but doing and recovering just fine. Sold the old hot rod Sportster and upgraded to a nice Dyna Fat Bob which I have been modifying and customizing as I can. MUCH nicer ride than the old Sportster! I Have not felt like hunting or fishing for a few years due to the side effects of my kidney disease, a couple of strokes and resultant gout, hypertension and other fun things it brings but overall I am enjoying retired life and being with my pretty wife who really, truly loves me and deeply. That, gentlemen, makes life fairly grand.

Besides snagging my dream Harley I have been able to ad some pretty nice guns to the pile like a minty 6" Nickle Colt Python and a no dash Smith and Wesson model 63 that is factory mirror polished and engraved. Built myself a double stack 1911 with motion sensing RMR that can run on 22TCM, 9mm or 38 Super 17+1 rounds per fill up, any of the three rounds. Still have the old Springfeild 1911 that I brought to the 24hrcf rendvous and bowling pin match and I still am displaying my trophy from that match. Back when we all got along and respected one another.

Anyone else remember when T LEE and me - with some assist from others here - teamed up to see a new gal shooter named Houndgirl get all set up with her first guns? Or the 15yr old kid in CA whose dad din't hunt? We all put in and got him a nice Ruger model 77 30/06 as I recall and got him started hunting. I even took him once. Then there were the Operation IRaqui freedom vets that we all chipped in togheter for and bought at least one of them the 35 Whelen he so wanted as he was freshly re located to Alaska and thought that rifle would be a great all arounder. I hope it still is. Ya'll helped my vietnam veteran freind, 100% disabled, get a low recoil deer rifle in the form of a Browning BAR in .243 plus a nice Leupold 4.5-14x scope. He still counts this as a great gift and appreciates it greatly.

I am quite aware that a few of the folks from here follow me for other than friendly reasons and that doesn't bother me any. I also have made lots of real and good friends here over the years and we remain real and true friends still.

I am still happliy kickin (VERY happliy, truth be told) along and enjoying life. in this GREAT country we call the USA. FWIW there are LOTS of great talking and even buy/sell forums all over the net and I am well known and well liked at many, just like I was here for 60,000+ posts and about 10 years.

Had a great run here, but nothing stays the same. The other places are just as informative and busy and active.

I'll pop in from time to time here and look for information I need plus peruse the classifieds but I have trimmed my toy collection down as far as I care too so will just be looking for the odd scope or accessory I want.

Hope you all know that I do not have any ill will towards you. Not 4Ager aka Sean Clarkston ( would love to hear from him and know that he is doing OK), not watch4bear, not ironbender, nor steelehead or anyone else who tried to make things rough for me here my last year while I was battling the strokes and stuff. I did not share everything so ya'll didn't know.

Anyway, since someone asked, here is your answer. I am doing GREAT and truly living the dream.

I hope the best for each of you all, too.

Safariman

I just had to reverse the AAA batteries in my flashlight.

Anyone checked a compass yet?
