Know some field trial people who use and recommend it....Purina also supports the field trial people with prize donations....Purina has been around a long time, and I'd trust some of the field trial people on knowing which of a couple brands that gives their Dogs a performance edge...

It depends on how persnickity you are about what you feed your dog. I prefer to feed corn to cows and hogs. Not dogs.

Well in that case, you can save even more money by feeding Pedigree, Atta Boy, Ol Roy or most of the Science Diet varieties. Because all the corn based food is basically the same.

Hard working Dogs need extra fat, and most dog foods come up short when they are hunting hard....
An additional supplement of protein isn't wrong either, along with a warm and easy place to sleep aka rest before the next day....
Fat is calories and energy, protein helps repair and build muscle fibers and rest allows both to do what they do....
