Groups like that are what make the vudoo worth the extra coin.
Good shooting

Those are impressive groups. Especially being 10 shot groups.
Are you part of the problem or part of the solution?

Anyone have experience with the Melvin .22s? Talking ULA? Yeah I have one (since 1997). Shoots good with decent ammo (sub .25" at 50), single shot left hand action, tuned up Timney, SS #1 contour Douglas, nothing fancy. Really light and requires some concentration to shoot well. Nice hunting rifle. The repeaters used to give problems, magazine wise. Don't know about the current production. I paid $800 for mine new. Not sure I'd pony up $1800 or so for a new one. If my eyesight was okay and were't so friggin old, I'd be ordering a Vudoo in a sporter configuration.

Yellow box SK shoots quite nicely in mine. Haven't shot the Midas stuff and think the SK is probably as accurate as I am. Sporter weight suppressed.

Vudoo set up with new NX8 Can't tell for sure, but that stock looks inlet for a Rem 700. Thought of this afterwards, but a guy could easily train with the vudoo all spring and summer, drop a Rem 700 sa into the stock, swap the scope from one rail to another and hunt with the same rig basically he trained with. One scope, one stock, and 2 barreled actions. My son may actually do that with his.

Vudoo will in fact drop in a 700 SA inlet that is also cut for M5 DBM. As for flip-flopping, swapping, et al, it can be done, but in the end you'll want to have each setup separate - DAMHIKT.
I never thought I'd grow up to be a grumpy old man, but I did, and I'm killin' it.

You folks that are LEO or leave in states that allow suppressors are very fortunate.....There is no shot at getting one in NY as a private citizen. Head shooting P dogs would be a blast (Excuse the pun).

Great looking rifle! The Vudoo's are wildly popular around here in the .22 competition scene. I've been resisting the temptation to get one, but I probably can't hold out forever.
I'm shooting a 40X converted to a repeater (the precursor to the Vudoo) and it's my favorite rifle to shoot, also. Lilja barrel, AI chassis, blah blah blah. It hammers.
Eley comes to town to do lot testing at the Olympic Training center every year. I had my 40X lot tested with Edge and was surprised to see the huge variations in accuracy from lot to lot. The very best lot we found shot groups exactly half the size of the worst lot. I immediately bought a case of 5,000 and now am about out. Lapua has a test center in AZ, and you can send them your rifle and they will provide the same service. I think I'll try that when I finally run out of my magic lot of Edge. As a bonus, Applied Ballistics has custom curves developed to two types of Lapua ammo now if you're into the long range thing.
Enjoy that fine rifle!

Thanks Tim, the issue I had with the Eley Black was getting it to feed properly with the mags that came with the original purchase. Paul explained it was the bullet shape that created the problem....the new mags fixed it and accuracy was consistently good. The Lapua Midas was flawless and shot the groups pictured above....Could also be the rifle breaking in and me getting in the grove so to speak but the Midas ran smooth as silk.
