I am looking for anyone who has experience with the Nitro line of Bushnell scopes. Good or bad both. With the current deal on the Nitro scopes, 141.99 for a 2.5-10x44 looks rather attractive. just wondered if anyone actually has one and has used it, and how it stacks up against other glass in the same price range.

I just got one of the 4-16x44 ffp moa Nitro's and I like it a lot! Got it to replace a 4-16x50 ffp moa Vortex Diamondback Tactical that has a reticle off by quite a bit. Sent it back to Vortex and they kindly told me they think it's in "spec" so they sent it back! Luckily for me I was about to pull the trigger on two more Vortex's but decided to wait for the outcome of the warranty work! I bought the Bushnell to check it against the Vortex and Athlon ffp's I have. Try as I might I just can't find much wrong with the Bushy! Took it out last weekend for a sightin and some testing. It did a 24moa box test with flying colors and the reticle was spot on! My only complaint and it's just a personal thing and not a functional thing is I wish the little dot in the center of the crosshairs was gone! lol Don't know why but it just bugs me and covers 1moa at 100 yards. If your shooting at little things, they may disappear behind the dot, but I sure can live with it if it proves to continue to track well!

In fact I've been eyeballin that 2.5-10 also! I got a feelin one will be migrating to my place very soon!

I got the 5-20x44 SFP from Camera Land and for and $142 it’s a great buy. Sure the reticle is a bit busy but the glass is nice and it tracked good for me as well. I’ve only shot it to 50 yards on one of my CZ 22lr’s but am going to put it on my 20VT this weekend and test at 100 yards.

I was wondering about the reticle. I thought to that it looked plenty busy, but not sure that fact alone is going to keep me from trying one.

Boy, the current price with the rebate on these seems like a pretty good deal IF these track properly and hold and return to zero properly. We've got about 10 more days left on that rebate and any additional helpful input would be greatly appreciated.

I tested my 5-20x44 on both my CZ455 22lr and my 20 Vartarg varmint rifle. Box tracking tests on both was good. Very good buy at this price point for sure.

Is the listed weight of the 2.5-10 accurate?

I have several hundred rounds shot, with a 4-16 SFP MOA Deploy on Swiss k-31, and 5-20 SFP MOA Deploy on M1a out to 300 yards, no hiccups, glass on par are better than, the old 4200's. The reticle is kinda busy but, I use them for target shooting with service rifles.

Once you figure out the MOA, hold over and hold offs, make it easy to hit at different distances. I was ringing the 10" gong in a stiff wind the other day 80%+ at 200 and 300 yards with a 100 yard zero using the hash marks and a little math.

Both the rifles I have these scopes on shoot MOA or less at 100 yards off the bench, when I take my time, get good consistent sight picture, and do my part behind the trigger..

All in all I really like them for my intended purpose. These, scopes are not ideal for my type hunting.

I, use Burris FFII 4-14 ballistic plex for my predator/varmint rifles. Glass is great and not as busy.

Hope this helps just my .02.
