Anyone remember the Jul, 1976 Legionnaires Disease scare... https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/legionnaires-disease/symptoms-causes/syc-20351747https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1976_Philadelphia_Legionnaires%27_disease_outbreak https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legionnaires%27_disease Though likely cause is from a bacteria, I don't believe they've ever came up with a cure or prevention for it. We hear about this in plumbing and backflow continuing Ed classes. Cooling towers harbor bacteria.

I remember, vaguely. I thought they’d decided the bacteria was traveling through the A/C vents. I was in 6th or 7th grade in ‘76. Since then, there’s been at least 5 global pandemics I’ve survived, not to mention the new ice age, the hole in the ozone, acid rain, and Lord knows what else that was the end of the world. You’ve gotta forgive me if I ain’t losing much sleep over this or climate change. 7mm
