We had fried shrimp and oysters, Memphis style slaw, pan fried potatoes and onions. Best oysters I have had in a while. They cam from Bevans Oyster Company in VA.

I just rolled some bacon around dill pickle spears, sliced flank steak over that, yup, rouladen. A bit of diced onion, and some bell pepper left from tacos.

After I help with a gate, it should be pi[in' hot ready to serve with some red German style cabbage.

I got extra, you'all are invited. laugh

Our last big dinner before Orthodox Lent.

I decided to try the sous vide setting on my Instant Pot. Did a piece of filet mignon and a small moose roast (moose vide?). I would have liked to get better grill marks on the bbq afterward. Maybe next time.

We had potatoes fried in duck fat with rosemary and garlic, fried mushrooms and onions and Slavyanka’s roasted beet and carrot salad.

It was 60+ here today. Kept it simple but tasty and did some burgers and brats on the grill this evening.
