Thank you. If it doesn't sell here within a couple days I'm going to move it over to gunbroker.

Does it group well, what kind of speeds with that barrel length?

Does it group well, what kind of speeds with that barrel length? I've never shot it. I have quite a few other 600's and 660's and they are all very accurate. Not sure what kind of velocity to expect, it has a 20" barrel.

I have the same gun in 6mm. I always thought the 6mm was better than a .243, but it's history doomed it from others realizing how good it is, esp if you reload. My 660 is not going anywhere even though I haven't shot it in years. It's the main reason I never bought a Model 7 for myself. Hopefully someone who appreciates its history will pick it up and enjoy it.

Remington only made the 660s for four (4) years, 1968 thru 1971, so this rifle is at least 49 years old and looks to have been left home far more often than it was carried afield.
I got my 660 in 6MM in 1968 and it has always been a good shooter.
I'd bet that Kentheremingtonman would ask a bit more for this rifle if he was selling it.

Moved to gunbroker, I'll still sell it here unless there's a bid on it.

I also have one in 6mm and it's my go to rifle for deer even with open sights and it groups minute of deer every time I take it out. I bought one in 308 about 15 years ago and have never fired it to this day, it just sits in the safe collecting dust, maybe some day I will put it up for sale.

Lots of watchers on gunbroker but no bidders yet. There's another one on gunbroker for $875 that isn't as nice as this one. I think I'm priced pretty reasonably.

That is a beautiful little rifle. I already have a 600 in 308 Win, which I download to about 243 Win power levels with 125 gr bullets to save my shoulder. So it's already about the same as your 660.
But man, that is one beautiful little rifle!

Only price drop $740 shipped conus. Insurance is on you if you want it. It'll ship priority with tracking. It's now cross posted on multiple forums so first public "I'll take it" will own it.
