Rooster, the boggs survived hunting season & have been spending lots of time on the ice.
Holding up well, however, for ice fishing, I added a pair of insulated felt insoles.
Would like the sole to be thicker, as without the insoles, my feed got cold pretty fast.

Muck Chore work very well for me. Short distance hunts in snow or very wet areas/conditions. Turkey hunts.
However, if you will be walking some miles none of the rubber boots are ideal, in my opinion. A quality Gore Tex lined leather hiking boot works best for me then. That's it for me. If I wear any kind of rubber boot for more than an hour or so in cold conditions, the liners and my socks are soaked clear through and my feet freeze. In heavy snow, leather boots and lots of snow seal always served me better than rubber. But good Gor-Tex is the best of both worlds. If you can keep the snow from coming in the top, or the rain from running down your leg and wetting your socks and boots.

For those of you that mentioned buying various different brands of rubber boots last fall, how are they holding up? Do you like them? Pros/Cons? Rooster, I get about 1.5 years out of the current Muck boots before they wear holes through the neoprene right above the bottom 'rubber'. Figure 5-7 months of actual everyday use maybe 5-7 hours a day. Nothing extreme, walking maybe a mile or two per day on flat ground. Out of pure laziness this past winter I haven't worn any Schnee boots. Muckmasters for the win.
