Due to the increased price of ammo, don't expect a warning shot...

Anschutz 1710 would be nice if could find one at a decent price. Tell me about it. I bit the bullet with the intention of never looking back. Hope it gets here before Coronavirus gets me.

I'd love to find a Pre-War Colt ACE.

I was all set to start looking for a nice S&W Model 14. Moose has a GP100, and he shoots 38 SPL out of it almost exclusively. He gives me all the 38 SPL brass. I have quite a stockpile. I started pricing Model 14's.
Last week, Moose announced he wanted to learn to reload. He'll probably want his 38 SPL brass back.
Ah! The sacrifices we make for our sons.
Maybe now I'll get a GP-100 instead.

On the long gun front, it's a matter of "Don't get me started!" It's not that I NEED anything, but. . .
A 7mm-08 or a 280 REM would be nice. What I really dream of is a 7mm-08 Savage 99.
A 44 Mag lever would be nice-- maybe a Marlin.
If somebody dangled the right Savage 24 in front of me, I might snag it. I don't know why
. . . and I still have that donor Marlin 336 I want to send off to JES to rebore into 38-55.
Shotguns:
Yikes! There's a voice inside my head that tells me I want a SXS-- maybe a 12 GA, possibly a 20 GA. I just can never quite get that out of my mind. I wouldn't want anything fancy.
. . . and a flintlock. Yes! I'd like a flintlock. A Brown Bess, and I'd like to take a deer in the fall and a turkey in the spring with it.
Oh drat! Now you've got me started again.

Just got a Glock 26 as EDC and I really like it.
Next I’d love a Montana Rifle Companies X3 in .338 RUM...

I think I’ll try to get around to ordering a piece of wood this week that will have an old 42" douglass XX 13/16" .40 caliber bbl and a large Siler flintlock stuck in it. Ive had bbl and lock laying around the shop for a while. Inthink some kind of basic Schimmel/barn rifle might be in the works.

Bob, remember us teachin' young Davy how to shoot? He was an excellent student! Not bad on the fiddle either!

Sig Cross...........I thought I was done for a while. I was wrong. Same....on both the Cross and staying off the purchase trigger. Really interesting little rifle. The LCRx 3" models have me looking as well but I think I can hold off on them. I think the hook is set on the Cross.

Next I’d love a Montana Rifle Companies X3 in .338 RUM... I discovered the 26 last year. It’s been my EDC for about a year now. Carries great and shoots great. Early on I was carrying it with the 12 round mags that Glock offers, but lately I’m carrying it with the flush 10 rounders, giving eleven rounds on board, with a spare 17 round mag on my belt. Ideal set up. Conceals well with the 12 round mag inserted, but even better with the flush mags.

I picked mine up a bit ago. A S&W M631 32 H&R. Nice! Where'd you find that? In a San Antonio gun store. While I knew of them when they came out I had never seen one for sale, new or used. If you decide you don't want those ugly grips, just let me know, and I'll dispose of them for you............. It's wearing Hogue's now... Cool! Need my address?

I have 3 on my list of "next"! Not sure which will be the actual next but it could be any of them.
1) Sig P365 My youngest daughter has claimed my S&W M&P 2.0 Shield so I need to replace my carry gun.
2) We have decided to go Black powder hunting for elk this year and I need a BP rifle. Looking at a .50 cal. T/C Impact.
3) 28ga. Shotgun. Not sure if it will be an O/U or pump. TBD

I'd like to find a very clean S&W Mod 19 2-1/2" I'll keep an eye out. Like this?
