Vaccine development will take over a year, by that time large percentage of world population will be exposed to this virus.

By next year, the virus will have changed into something else and a new vaccine will be required. That's what the flu does every year. Sometimes they get it right, sometimes they don't. It's very hard to predict what the bug will do from year to year.

They want to band all weapons. They are for open borders. They want very high 90% taxes to give free education, free food, free health care, and free housing to illegals or anyone too lazy to work. They wish to destroy the constitution and replace it.

It isn't novel. It's a different genotype every year. This one doesn't even appear to be that virulent. The mortality rates arent even close to accurate given that so many have it but very few have been tested. Im pretty sure I've had it already. I never missed a day. Just a head cold.

Everyone needs to stop. This virus is everywhere already. The sky isn't falling.

It is simply a matter of time before virtually everyone is exposed. Many will have it, spread it and never know they had it if they are in good health. The old and anyone in poor health with weak immune systems will be the ones who get sick and die. The disease attacks weak lungs and many sick people will need to be in hospitalized and placed on O2.

My daughter is a nurse and according to her the thing they fear is being overwhelmed by people needing O2 and not having enough machines for all of them. We have 98,000 people in our county with 300 hospital beds. And most of them are already filled with other patients. If more than 3/10 of 1% of our residents need to be hospitalized we can't care for all of them. It wouldn't take more than 50 or so new patients to really put our hospital in a bind. And we have several hundred older folks living in local nursing homes or assisted living facilities who are high risk. Not even counting others who still live at home.

This could be a big deal, or it may not be. But the concern is real and not political.

Personally, I find all of this to be MASSIVELY overblown. About 65k people die from the flu every year like always. This might add 1% on that, maybe. If you are worried, don’t drive, go swimming, or do anything that make your heart rate increase just a little. Just sit home, locked in your basement, after you buy your 500 rolls of toilet paper. Actually, go to the next County Commissioner meeting (via FaceTime) and ask them if the high school football field will be used as a temporary morgue until the burn pits are set up.

If they spent as much money on Cancer Research as they did for AIDS, they’d of cured cancer YEARS ago ! 😡

Yep, the coronavirus threat is all about having enough intensive care capacity in our healthcare system, if our healthcare system is suddenly overwhelmed with more cases than it can handle then the mortality rate will jump significantly. The only practical way to keep the system from becoming overwhelmed is to drastically slow rate of infection over time. Exponential growth with the number of new coronavirus infections doubling every six days or so does not favor our healthcare capacity to take care of all of the serious and critical cases that are likely to occur.
