I would appreciate some help with determining the value of a Cabelas muzzleloader. It looks like the Great Plains rifles but it has a stainless barrel, nickel plated lock and composite stock. I've found some of the wood and blued versions online but not one like this. It is 54 cal. and is in excellent condition. Also has a Williams adjustable peep sight.

I haven't figured out the picture thing but if someone would be willing to post pictures for me, I could email them.

If I was selling it - $150-250 - depending on the bore condition, and how well I liked the buyer.

It's a bit of an odd duck for most in .54, which won't help value.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't expect it to be a high value firearm, although the bore is excellent, which is easy with stainless. I haven't fired it in years and don't expect to. When I lived in the pacific northwest, it appealed to me because of the wet conditions. I'm going to check into posting pictures and give it a shot in the classifieds.

54 Cal is not a detriment at all if you are a hunter.

I shot that 54 stainless hawken today. Eye surgeon have the ok.
Shot 3 prb over 100 g of clean shot ffg. 50 yards off hand the first 2 were one hole basicly. 3rd I called high and right by a inch as the seat slipped.
Then loaded 1 buffalo bullets 310 g ballet. Called it as the smoke was clearing at 1 inch left and high.
Wolves are going to have condition this fall.
Thinking seriously about spring bear😁😁😁
May put it into a wood stock but as it is I can play duck and not worry.
