My wife just got home from work at the urgent care. They had several sick people with the symptoms and one guy that fit everything that had been to a concert in Arizona 2 weeks ago and got sick last week.
I'm a little concerned she brought it home but I couldn't talk her into quitting her part time job with no benefits. She's worried what others will think if she quits. My Dr told me my odds aren't good if I get it.
Bb So your doctor said if you get you are going to die? What kind of doctor you have? Are you seeing paddler?
Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

Wife said one hospital in Idaho Falls refused to test a highly likely patient because they could not prove he had contact with a confirmed case. Even though he had traveled 2 weeks ago, had all the symptoms and a negative standard flu test.
These non believers all over Idaho that think it's a political hoax may be in for an unfortunate surprise.
Bb Yeah I can’t wait for the domestic travel ban. Then we will see how real this chit is

If that map of confirmed cases is accurate, got one case less than 10 Miles away.

the only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker, is observation. all the same data is present for both. The rest, is understanding what you're seeing.

Closest to us are three about eighty miles north, one about a hundred and fifty miles south and another about a hundred and thirty miles west.

One in our county--or at least he lives somewhere in our county, according to today's newspaper--which listed the first 4 confirmed in Montana. He's in the hospital in the local "big city," 30 miles north of here in the bordering county.

- - - - - These non believers all over Idaho that think it's a political hoax may be in for an unfortunate surprise. Bb Right now I am about 140 miles from the nearest reported case, and happy to be here - for that and many other reasons. But, before long I will need to go down the mountain to where there may, or may not, be a case within 45 miles. I consider any virus of this type seriously because I am way old and have a compromised pulmonary system. But - about the quoted "hoax" comment and folks in ID - there seems a big difference between an actual hoax and the ridiculously sensational way in which this is being played by the big media and one party - and by panic-inspired humans,

One presumptive case a little over a mile away, symptomatic, recent traveler to Europe, negative on flu test. Hospital just told them it would take another 7 days before the test would come back.
WTF? Over?

About 75 miles for one case confirmed. Patient died, although cause of death is not known. I.E. the victim was in poor health prior to the virus.

I just found out we have a confirmed case six houses down from us. While out walking the dog tonight, I ran into one of my neighbors (a college kid who rents a townhouse a few houses down from us). His roommate (and Nova Southeastern Univ Education student) just returned from Ireland and came down with it. Apparently there area few others from that class who also have it and others who are being tested. My neighbor is self quarantining and has been tested, but still has to go out and walk the dog. When I spoke with him he was wearing a mask and said he felt fine, and his roomate is in the hospital and is also doing fine with mild flu like symptoms.
So I guess that’s pretty close. I’ll keep you informed if I wind up with the Kung Flu 😷

It is naive to think there is not cases very near you. Testing is likely only capturing a small percentage of the actual cases.
