... was back in 1970 outside of Steamboat Springs CO. I was 12 years old and carried a 71 Winchester with 200gr Silvertips in it. Pic is of the rifle, still have it, and the knife is the Schrade-Walden 150T Old Timer my dad gave me for the hunt. Nothing on that trip and it's been too long since I carried these 2 on a hunt! Feeling a bit nostalgic!

That was a lot of gun for a 12 year old depending on how big you were. At 12 tears old I am not sure I broke 100 pounds.

At 12, I was around 180 and almost 6 feet tall. Dad used to say it was cheaper to clothe me than to feed me.
