Damned old plumber, not too critical, unless something backs up. I become important then.

Health Care IT Project Manager.

Everyone is working from home but still working so far. Starting to see project stalled but not cancelled so far.

I gotta buddy who is a commercial fisherman—he was told to pull his nets yesterday—I suspect the processing plant is shutting down. This is the busiest time of the year for him. It could put him outta bidness.

Journeyman lineman for electric company. I think that qualifies for a critical industry.

They shut me down.
Middle kid told to work from home starting tomorrow.
The ol lady is corrections, supervisor came in on her shift and told her two coworkers since they're over 60 they could stay home for 2 weeks and not get dinged.
Stupid fugger didn't ask her, she's 62.

Yeah, she's pretty riled up right now.

Banking so yeah we’re essential... don’t know what it’ll look like but I’m sure we’ll at least be loading ATMs?

ATMs and drive throughs here starting tomorrow.
Not spending any money really.
Just lay low.
Think my Jeep had it's second full tank of gas, ever (owned 4 yrs now).
1.74 a gal.
Doubt I burn a quarter tank in the next 2 weeks.

Nothing to do. Live close to anything I might need, and far enough away to avoid hassle (edge of town).
Traffic way less, main road outside housing addition.

Traffic is way down (but auto plants shut down).
Might learn how to take a nap smile
Eerily quiet.

Transportation, specifically bridge maintenance. Engineers and office staff such as myself are working from home as much as possible. Field staff are rotsting shifts to keep the facilities no more than 50% staffed to reduce likelihood of spread. (If that's even possible).

We will all still be working if nothing more than on an emergency basis as roads will have to remain open to keep the supply chain going.

Very subjective definition.

Local county shut down gun dept at Murdochs, not the store mind you, just the guns...

but the reefer dispensaries are to be open, along with about 5 other classes of retail. All you can so is sit there an' wave... sittin' on that sack 'o seeds...

yes. i should be getting a letter here in a day or so that supposedly allows me to travel to work if there is a total shutdown. only way i would have to would be if there was an equipment malfunction that required hands on. happens about 3-4 times a year.

Supervisor on a floating oil platform. Company thinks we are essential. Rumor is they may keep us at work since we are all healthy. We are scheduled to go home Tuesday.

Since I wasn’t on the list of folks approved to work from home, I suppose somebody must consider me critical.

I don’t necessarily agree.
