I thought that but my local shop only offered me $200 for a like new XDe 9mm with hard case, 3 mags and everything. Think I'll hang onto it before I take that. Kind of been wanting a sig 365 instead because the XDe is blocky but it shoots awesome.

Went to my LGS today to pick up a couple Savage lever actions that came in. On average I wait 5 or 10 minutes, maybe #4 or 5 in line. Today there were over 1200 people ahead of me. Dealer said I might be approved tomorrow, maybe.

This whole mess might even open up some "willfully blind" eyes......at least for a while. When the police agencies started issuing "no-arrest" mandates across the country, a bunch of comfortable couch sitting Progressives felt like their little perfect world wasn't so safe anymore.

Hoping for some converts out of this. Maybe some actual logic will come forth and open some formerly closed eyes and ears.

I have always wanted to see one. if you took a picture of one, please share. Many dumocrats claim they have seen one. Maybe if I were a dumocrat, i would be allowed to see one.

Bass Pro Shops in Southern CA had a six hour wait to fill out to paperwork to buy a gun and a two hour wait for ammo purchases. It was crazy to say the least.

Went in to one of the local LGSs today. Small shop with competitive pricing. They were certainly down on stock but still had about 30-40% of their normal handguns on display. No price increases and good service. I grabbed a cheap plinker for the kids to mess with, and my background went through pretty quickly (which they were surprised about) but I have a somewhat unusual last name. My 4473s have always gone through quickly.

It’s actually sorta true. Can’t say for everywhere, but, I talked to two buds who own gun shops in Portland. Both confirmed they saw almost record sales numbers last weekend, mostly women buying up Glocks first, and then Sigs.

Pump guns were next, bought by guys. AR sales were good, just not as good as pistols and shotguns. A lot of first time gun buyers for sure they said....😎

Newsom is shutting down 'non-essential' business. I'm guessing that includes gun stores. He's a tricky little s h i t.

I too heard they were pissed about not being able to order it online to the front door.

Their cumulative stupidity is what's infectious amongst them. smile

No kidding. But, since when is protecting your family "non-essential"?

I took my newish tx22 out to day to shoot it for the 2nd time. I like the feel of it but it jams at least once per mag with 4 different types of ammo. The mags are a bit different so I'm wondering if there's a little trick to loading them right for reliability. I love the feel of the gun but hate unreliable feeding.

I'm with you, but I'll be curious to see how it plays out when buyers get to the end of the waiting period.
