Falafel, cukes, maters, onions, pita, and some yogurt/cream-cheese dip (garlic, onion, chive). It was awesome, but should have made more falafel as it went fast with the kids.

Leftover pronghorn stew with Panera bagette and a few Augustiner Braeu Edelstoffs. How there was any leftover stew is a mistery.

Smoked turkey for grandson's 25th birthday. Smoked it to 178*. It came out great. I filled the box with hamburgers and then cooled them and this morning froze them. In the tray below the racks I put half of the drip pan full of grape juice or apple. It works well and the smoker always leaves the meat moist. I had juices all over the place getting the turkey out of the smoker onto a tray. Be Well, Rustyzipper.

We call it enchilada stack. Is what it sounds like. Guac, sour cream, hot sauce, etc. will be on top.......

Sounds interesting!

FieldGrade conned me into buying some chicken livers. Still trying to figure out what to do with them.

Love pinto beans, love fried chicken livers, but would pass on okra boiled. I love okra fried, either rolled in a batter and deep fried, or just mixed with some cornmeal and skillet fried. But, those livers do look good.

Try salt, black pepper, and steam your young okra. No slime. Maybe a little butter at the end. I like it better than fried. and I like fried. miles

I can eat okra that's not fried, just much prefer the fried version. I've had it with tomatoes, and although it was slimy, it was still good. I have a friend who makes pickled okra, and I'd always give them the okra to make it with, and then they'd give me a jar of the pickled. I'd pass it on to someone else, because I couldn't stand the stuff.
