I have a Leupold 4x12 Rifleman which is the bottom of the line for the Leupold 4x12. It has been on a 338 mag for years & still hits dead on. The Rifleman scope does not have the Bells & Whistles of the higher priced Leupold but is sharp & clear & absolutely has the durable toughness of the higher priced models. This scope sells at Midway for $259 prepaid. I consider it a bargain.

My XTR in 30-06 was made in 1979 (G141xxxx), I bought her new for $206.50, she’s still in the safe.

My XTR (.300WM) was made in 1978 and given to me by a dear friend. He bought it used and said the previous owner never cleaned it. It copper fouls a little quicker than my other rifles but with thorough cleaning is accurate. Quality is good and I installed a limb saver. It's also a lucky rifle for me.

I'll take a push feed Model 70 second only to a CRF Model 70. 👍^^^ what he said I have a Leupold 4x12 Rifleman which is the bottom of the line for the Leupold 4x12. The Rifleman scope does not have the Bells & Whistles of the higher priced Leupold but is sharp & clear & absolutely has the durable toughness of the higher priced models. This scope sells at Midway for $259 prepaid. I consider it a bargain. I have a couple of early Leupold 4x12, before the Rifleman and they are very nice light weight basic scopes,

Got a line on a nice McMillan stock for it, just not sure I want to lose the wood one. Would mean buying the rifle the McMillan is on, swapping stocks and selling the rifle with my wood stock.
