I bought two of these magazines for mine G43x.

Could only load 14 rounds in them, but, two weekends ago I put 600 rounds through the both of them, 300 rounds each.

NOT one glitch or hick-up. They performed flawless.

Title should read "Glock 43x owners".

No love for Glock 43 owners when it come to extra capacity mags. frown

Sorry about that, I wasn't aware there was a difference. I'm not really a Glock guy.

Those won't work in a 43. Only in a 43X. They have different sized mag wells.

The SA mags I have all fit 15 cartridges. I replaced the SA factory mag springs with their +5% springs today - all take 15 rounds though the added spring pressure is evident.

I've had some teething problems with mine. I've got five mags, was using two, and the springs set. SA was kind enough to replace all five springs in the mags with their +10% springs. Still had problems. Went with Wolff G19 +10% springs, and expect that to take care of things. For my G48, the springs seem to be the weakness in the design, that and you have to use a metal mag release.

Pretty sweet! I have Tango Down/Vickers +2 extensions for two of my G43 mags. That is pretty good for my needs.

It's ok.

There was initial speculation about making metal mags that would hold more rounds in a Glock 43, but once the 43x came out, the 43 was forgotten about.

Yes. 43 for when you need a Ssmaller profile, but can handle 10 rounds too. Have a 43 with a mag tech 2 rd extension plus pierce+1 in the same mag. 9+1 works fine.

I don't understand why Glock didn't make G43 and G43X mags interchangeable. You can use G19, G17 or even 33 round G18 magazines in their G26. I have the G43 and it would be nice to have the option of using the small mags for a lot of situations and move up to bigger mags if needed. The G43X and G48 are bigger than I want. I'd just as soon carry my G19.

Sig got it right with their P365. It is no bigger than the G43, comes with 10 round mags with 12 and 15 available for the same gun. The G43 doesn't get used much since buying the Sig.

Because the 43 and 43X are different frames. Had they just come up with the 43X/48 frame before the 42, there would not be a 43 (in my opinion).
