Unique, RL15 and H4350 would do everything I “need” done, but it would be like golfing with a putter, 5 iron and a driver. You could do it, but better tools exist and would add to the enjoyment.

H4831

I've consolidated my rifle chamberings to:
223, 69 SMK with RL15
7mm08, 140s with H4350
280AI, 160s with H4831
375H&H, 260AB with RL15 and 300s with H4350

I use other powders, but would be content with those three.

I almost wrote that but I would swap out H-1000 for IMR 4320

Varget: rifle
H110: revolver hunting loads
Bullseye: 45 ACP
Titegroup: 9mm

I could keep my 22-250. The 25-06 is a maybe. No powder on earth holds a candle to H110 for full throttle revolver hunting loads. Bullseye and 45 Auto target loads are peanut butter and jelly. Bullseye is also a great powder for very accurate revolver target loads. Here’s where I can’t live with just three powders. I can’t get maximum accuracy from a 9mm using a powder for low pressure 45 Auto loads. And for what it’s worth, lots of powders work well in 9mm. For me, Titegroup has been the most consistently accurate powder I’ve tried across many many 9mms using a variety of bullets and bullet weights. Your results may vary 😉.

I'm going to assume you are talking strictly rifle powders.

Based on that criteria, mine would be:

H335
IMR-4350
RL-22

Those would take care of everything I have from 223 Rem to 270 Weatherby.

Pistol and shotgun powders are a totally different thread!

I consolidated things down a few years ago. I load one of those powders in most of my rifles and the handguns get factory ammo most of the time.
Everything gets a Federal primer.

For me, it would be:

IMR 4350, for .280 and .30-06,
RL 22 for .270 WSM and .257 Wby.,
IMR 4227, for my big-bore handguns.

Pretty much my take on it. RL-15 isn't the best for lighter bullet weights in the .223 but it will work.
