Here are a couple more. Both are 22 HP's. The interesting thing about these rifles is that they are less than 9,000 serial numbers apart, but the older one has interupted threads while the newer one has full threads. First set of interupted threads that I have seen, kinda neat! Never too fond of stainless, but I like that as much as I've liked any. There's a whole group of people nowadays who'd go nuts over one like that if it was factory. Nice gun Steve.

Put a composite stock on it you'd probably get $1500 on gunbroker, some newby would be bragging it up and its super kill all caliber.

I got a 22hp takedown that is kind of a refurbished rat. I dig that silver gun though. I want to take mine and Color case harden the entire thing.... action, barrel, lever and all.

Ballistically what would the 22 hi power compare with.I know where there is one but don't really know if I'd get any use out of it.Is it varmit type gun along the lines of a .222 or .223 ?
