2004 Yamaha FZ1 - About 130 hp at the back wheel. 1-60 in under 3 seconds.. or as some say, 0 to ticket in under 3 seconds. Haven't had it out yet this year, been kinda crappy weather here in PA. Makes me want to go to work just for the ride to and from.

My purple Duece above made 93 horse, 103 for torque.

The Fatboy with the flames made 96 horse, 106 torque.

The black Fatboy I never dynoed, but it had another 1/2 point compression, S&S heads were ported/polished, and went to 585 cams over the 570's of the flamed bike.

Probably easily 110 hp & 120 torque.

Best part is I did all the work myself at home in my breezeway, except the head work and pressing the cams out & in.

Jerry, the Gold Wing CanAm style project sounds cool, post pictures if you have any.

Al, that sure is a skinny front tire compared to the Fat Boy!

coat4one, TXRam is an FZ1 fan, swears he almost died on it more than once...

Gorgeous and low miles too.
R100? (Fuel line in the way)

You know they use those flat twins to run irrigation pumps in third world countries cause they just go and go...
Who was the guy that BMW bought the bike back from 350k or 450k on it. Let him have whatever new bike he wanted and put his in the factory museum...

YES SIR !

I had a friend who DIED in his RECLINER....Absolute truth.

I've had dirt bikes since 1987 and street bikes since 2002.

This Suzuki 1200 Bandit has been massaged thoroughly. OEM it was 90 or 95 hp. Professionally done by a Suzuki
Xpert. Now it has 125 HP on dyno. I've seen 140 MPH

My riding pard and I put 547 miles on in ONE day, 2011.

By 2017 my L knee won't let me ride it very long. It's NOT a crotch rocket, just a standard sport bike but pegs are too high and back for long distance now.

2107...... BINGO, just stumbled onto this one. A mutual friend knew its owner. I normally ride with a helmet but....

It's 98 Ultra Glide Ultra Classic 1340 cc ( 82 C I )
My first bike with Luggage aka Garbage Bags lol. It IS nice to carry bad wx gear, snacks, drinks (insulated bag) etc.

I've already worn out a H D (Dunlop) rear tire. Replaced with Michelin Commander II.

Oh heck yes, motorcycles are the "ultimate" in so many ways. Weather it be social distancing, therapy, fun, bonding with your kiddos, spouse, friends etc... Motorcycles, no matter street or dirt, are simply good for the soul. Can't imagine a life without. I think the words printed on the image below sums it up succinctly for this dirt biker.

As someone who works in the medical device industry (product development for Trauma implants) I thank you for the business.

Please don't get me wrong, I love motorcycles - rode them off and on for 20 years before I started working in this industry. 3 of the first 5 IM nail cases I saw (rod in a leg) in a Level 1 trauma center were motorcycle related. Never got on one since...
