We saw a bunch last summer when we went to South Dakota last summer. Amazing animal, hard to believe how many there once was on the plains.

Yes. Back when we had 60 million or so it was much warmer.

Fair chase: Imposing animals for sure, and I'd not want to have one to turn on our rig. Need to get out and exercise the Sharps some day, as I'd really like to acquire a nice robe. Would likely fill a couple freezers as well.

Very hard to find a clean buff. Took a couple of Cookie's shots and Photo Shopped them a bit.

If one ever gets up near Watson Lake he'll find the Woodland version. They are absolutely massive.
