I got a case of pepperoni Hot Pockets if things get bad at your place.

Bunch of fuqking hoarders, you shouldn't have more than three or four days worth at home. Why you wanna be selfish like that?

PSA: If this drags on for the weeks to come and you are anything like me and have full freezers in less than secure locations.
You might want to think about locking things down a bit.
Honest folks can become less than honest when it comes to needing to feed their families.

Be thoughtful and share what you can.....

A small generator can keep a freezer chillin' if we have power outages due to seasonal storms or other reasons.

Don't loose what you've hoarded for easily avoided reasons......

I got a food replicator.
Got from Jordi.
It runs on cold fusion.
Separates the H from h2o and runs on that.
Even a tablespoon of rain water will fire it up!!!
I can make the 3 meat pepperoni, salami, and ham hot pockets.
I'm good....

Ringworm: I am fairly well stocked with both canned and frozen foods - may get boring but I am sure we could go 3 months on what we have - do need fresh milk though for oatmeal mornings though.
When we bought our home here in SW Montana (from a Mormon widow) it had not been put on the open market as of then.
She showed the VarmintWife and I around the home they had designed and built - and down in the basement was a "Mormon Pantry" room - she explained that her religion endorsed the Mormon folks to keep on hand one years worth of food and water.
This "Mormon Pantry" was like a large bedroom but was lined on all four walls with heavy duty multi-layered shelving and in the middle of the room were two long multi-shelfed free standing floor to ceiling shelves - all shelves were filled with canned food and dry foods!
I was impressed but immediately began planning on turning the room into a gun vault room as it had no windows just a heavy door.
I eventually did that and moved the center shelving into my "loading room" and filled those shelves with ammunition and the like.
I kinda wish now I had left some of my shelves as long time food storage?
I have been to the "store" here in town several times in the last 3 weeks and never have seen rice or flour or good chilli on the shelves - let alone TP or hand sanitizer.
Maybe those Mormons were on to something?
I did not tell the lady that sold us her house they had built that my whole family had been kicked out of the Mormon Church back in the early 1950's (1956?) for not tithing enough!
We'll get through this.

We started prepping over a year ago. Ran two dehydrators at a time and heat sealed in Mylar bags with absorbers. We have enough food for at least four months, six if rationed tightly. I have not hunted in a while, so no game in the freezer. About 100 lbs. if meat frozen into serving sizes for a bit of animal protein.

Got self-replicating protein sources in the pasture. Steers in the pens for the kids' 4H projects. I think 6 or 7 of the kids' pigs on feed as well.

2 stand up freezers full. 2 regular freezers full. Soda pop vending machine full of beer.

Pantry is decently stocked. Probably not as stocked as it should be.

My having food is the least of my worries, as I live on a farm with cattle and wild game, and grow a big garden. Keeping others away from it is what I'm worried about.

Has anyone seen the slightest indication that the food supply chain will break down?
