I put another 400 rounds through it this week to try to get into shape for some IDPA/Defensive Pistol matches as the weather begins to improve. (Layoffs suck!) I had to hurry up and order another 2000 bullets.

My standard 365 fits a Kydex holster I had for a Kahr PM9 pretty much like it was made for the 365.

I have had my 365XL about six months now and it has been my daily carry after putting a few hundred rounds through it. It has ate literally every thing I have put in it so far. Accuracy is above average, slide release works as it should on mine. I did send it back to have the rear sight changed as the original was fairly dim and now it is fine. I carry Speer 124 gr JHP +P.
Steve........... Steve, I just sent my slide in yesterday for the same reason. Had lunch with DeFlave yesterday. He said the new "trend" is to use slightly dimmer rear sights. Maybe to help you see the front sight better? I don't know.

I much prefer the dimmer rear sights. They work fine in the dark without overpowering the light from the front sight. Factory Glock night sights are the worst. These new P365 sights are the first factory-installed night sights that I like.

Got the 365 XL slide back today from Sig with the really dim rear night sights replaced. The new ones look perfect. It had been scheduled to be here yesterday through tracking, but got here this afternoon. The Fedex guy gave it to me in the driveway. I don't think that's bad turn around at all, given what's going on.
Happy camper.

Speer 124 gr. GDHP standard pressure. It's very accurate but then the Sig is a very accurate pistol. 4 shots averaged 1069 fps out of my 365 XL.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

With the same ammo, I got a 5 shot average of 1112 fps, with one shot at 1178 fps raising the average and extreme spread. Tossing that one out, I got 1095. I have not experienced any other anomalies of this nature with my Labradar, so I suspect it was the ammo.

Will the XL slide and barrel fit a P365
I have not done it, but a lot of people have done it. There are a bunch of videos on it, although most don't shoot the guns after doing the swap. Interestingly, the recoil spring assemblies are different between the two. One guy indicated in his written narrative that a swap is supported by Sig. See video and comments at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78ZJolAuHc0.

Will the XL slide and barrel fit a P365
See this thread. FrankengunsMy standard carry nowadays is a 365 XL slide on a P365 grip frame with a 10 or 12 round mag in place. I call it the P365 XX for reasons explained in the thread.

Osage county arms. ~$37.
15rd is a buck cheaper.
I believe all new stock with have the XL base plates in the package.
I’ve bought the last few at academy. $40.

With the 12 round magazine in place, isn't this the same dimensions as the standard XL? What is the advantage of this combination other than the curved trigger if you like that better. I would think with the 12 magazine, I would prefer the XL frame as a more rigid grip for the length. Just curious, no mean intent meant.

No mean intent taken at all, thanks for asking for a clarification.
"With the 12 round magazine in place, isn't this the same dimensions as the standard XL?"
Yes, with a 12 round mag the length of the grip is the same. Best way to answer is to quote from my original post:
It may seem counter-intuitive but I prefer the smaller grip of the 365. They are supposed to be pretty close but there are subtle differences. The 365 grip is about .03" thinner and those pinky extensions come a little bit more forward, they feel like they give you just a smidge more leverage against the recoil. Mostly the 365 grip just feels better, it fits the contours of my hand better. Then that longer slide gives it a more balance forward feel.
With the longer slide/shorter grip it seems like you get the best of both. A tad more velocity, a tad more sight radius, but a tad more concealability, at least with a 10 round mag. With the 12 round mag that's a wash.
The curved trigger was something added separately, just didn't care for the flat trigger. I put a curved trigger on my P320 X-Full as well.
It really boiled down to personal preference, and then the ability to use a 10 round mag to shorten the grip if desired was an added advantage. I took both pistols to the range and fired them quite a bit in their original configurations and then with the slides switched and decided that "XX" mod was what I liked best. Fwiw, I bought a separate 365 grip (which cost $24, a lot less than a new magazine) and put that on the XL, keeping the P365 in its original condition.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!
