Hubris, ostentation, whatever term is chosen - it seems that every thread pertaining to the current consumer situation eventually becomes a stampede to let everyone know just how superior we are in terms of preparation. Perhaps we could confine all of our attempts at dislocating our shoulders patting ourselves on the back to this one thread, freeing us of the need to constantly be on the look-out for other threads in which to praise ourselves.
Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.
