I have a family of 5 if they all come here, and with last year's haul we could make it until season starts in October but we would have to reduce our portions slightly.
I have plenty of catfish and crappie 50 yards from my backdoor.
My other supply, trout on the reservation, is on hold till the reopen but eventually they will.
That's an additional 10 fish per permit, peer day.

Don't worry, when the troops, NG, police are on the streets you will be able to leave your dwelling to get essentials. Like I said before one will not need tons of ammo and hundreds rolls of TP to get by. I envision one family member one or two trips per week like they're doing in Milano.

Watching that vegas vid made me think now would be the perfect time for Hollywood to get a bunch of film for their next post apocalyptic movies. No need to shut down roads and interrupt everyone. They should be driving around taking tons of footage with their best video cameras.

Kroger is headquartered in Cinci

They were interviewed today and said there is plenty of food in their supply chain, its just getting the stores stocked as people keep cleaning it out. That will subside shortly as people just can't keep buying out stores.

The problem right now at the manufacturer I work for is getting the grocery approved dry vans (or refers, we can use them if that is what the carrier has available).

We have about 300% of orders typical for this time of year. But trucks to deliver them are running about two to three days behind, and the completed orders are sitting on our floor as backlog. Orders are stripping our inventory rapidly. At this time production crews are working 60 hours/week and looking at possibly 72 hours.

We typically see this type of activity through Nov and Dec and have difficulty finding carriers then. But Jan through Oct is usually slower and a time for us to build inventory in the warehouses.

It appears that we will go into Nov with very little inventory on the floor. Perhaps our seasonal rush will be off set by consumers holding product in their pantry.

If not, we will be in trouble as our two crews each already work 72 hour weeks from the middle of Sept through Christmas. We have near zero room to increase production at that time.

I wonder where all the restaurant supply chains are unloading their excess inventory?

There is a lot of empty shelving inside American homes. I think we are going to be very surprised at how much food gets squirreled away over the next ninety days. People who have never kept more than a day's worth of supplies have finally figured out they should have some reserve on hand.

I hope that a very small percentage goes to waste.

Yeah, watch the whole video, worked fine, the strip looked eerie I've had ups and downs with YT when my server is slow. Some times I have to even reboot my browser after YT crashes.

I'm hijackin service from a nearby B&B, I went over and moved their router and cleared all my YT problems right up.

Lemme know how that Walmart order goes, mine hasn't shipped 90% of my order and it's been over a week.
