We’ve already seen the first three colored horses at work in the world, leading to current events. With CV-19 in 2020 AD, the fourth has appeared. Or re-appeared, depending on your view of Bible warnings about what to expect in the future.
Before “the Anti-Christ” reveals himself (eg. with Antiochus Epiphanes IV before Jesus came or Vespasian afterward), polluting the Temple as part of a cult of personality will occur. It must fit a pattern. Well, we have another pattern to trace, and this one is based on colored horses and spiritual imagery associated with world events.
In Zechariah 6, it’s chariots and directions referencing Israel to which God dispatches four influential spirits into the world. Colors are assigned and horses bearing those colors are implied. Red is understood to be eastward by exclusion, and the one sent towards Arabia is “dappled.” Interestingly, the black one comforts God.
In Revelation 6 we have four horsemen, literally. Now, rather than giving God comfort, the black one’s role has become lethal in concert with the other three. Business concerns are protected while the population is decimated. Sounds like over-population being addressed to me. Slavery of those remaining on earth is fait accompli.
[Comment: the pattern of four horsemen can even be shown in the first four Islamic caliphs. Muhammed/”The Prophet” on al buraq is always white. Abu Bakr behaved like the red war horse. Umar brought great wealth to Islam financially like the black. Uthman, the green horse, spread Islam by massive death and conversion by the sword. And, many national flags in Islamic world feature not only pale green (“chloros”) but include white, red and black.]
White is for the West. Expanding by the colonial competition of European kings, driven and sanctioned by their church, that power enslaved and decimated New World populations. Lots of death ensued, despite what we now see as democracy spread as a result. (The original inhabitants don’t rejoice on Columbus Day like Americans do.)
Red is for the East. Communism has shattered ideas of freedom among men, leaving millions in mourning, continuing to this day. The body count has been staggering in Asia alone.
Pale (green) is for the South. Islam holds sway over one quarter of the world’s population, beginning with “conversion by the sword” 1400 years ago, resuming in our time after about 100 years when the caliphate was ended due to two world wars. Death by martyrdom is prized and those who will not submit can expect slavery or worse.
Black is for the North. Until recently, many good things have come from the money people of Protestant Europe. However, from Napoleon to Stalin and others, financing endless wars has come to be the norm. Hitler and his allies directly tried to annihilate millions of God’s chosen people along with millions of others who didn’t fit their apocalyptic view of mankind. No compassionate capitalism there. Add in hundreds of millions of aborted humans for good measure. All the world is guilty.
This CV-19 crisis is financial. The idea that it’s because folks are dying defies logic. Drunk driving and drugged driving kill millions annually. Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, seasonal influenzas, prescription drug mistakes, etc. result in millions more. Lightning strikes and plane crashes are statistically unlikely to result in personal death, yet we fear them like this pestilence called CV-19. Why the immediacy? Because dying alone, choking in an oxygen tent has become vivid in our view of the immediate future.
My country owes China and others who hold our national debt $1 trillion USD and more. And, we just added a $2 trillion USD burden to try getting back to where we were before “the Ides of March” this year. We’ve been run as a bankruptcy by the Fed, since the days of FDR, Social Security, the Great Society, the IRS and the like. Now, even if we “recover” economically, we are financial slaves in all but name. Hoping there’ll be enough to live on as long as my generation is alive is a fond dream.
Do we really believe the generation that survived abortion will sacrifice for the sake of the ones responsible for the current state of affairs? The housing collapse of 2008 ensured they cannot expect to live as we have done. The Trump economy leaves the young anticipating no benefit to them. Socialism? Spain and Italy show that’s doomed medically, even if Venezuela doesn’t speak to the financial inevitabilities.
People have shot their mouth off about how the world is over-populated. No-one wants to start the reduction personally. Even in hunting circles, the idea of Africans making way for wildlife has had appeal before 2020. AIDS decimated life there, leaving the median age of a couple countries at 18 years of age. Now, India and Africa are experiencing what the West has been trying to cope with, but they have no resources.
If this pandemic wasn’t caused, I guarantee you there’s people watching it happen and taking note. “Huh. Maybe we don’t need the bomb to change our place in world power.” Jesus’ words tell us to expect many more of these “pestilences.” It ain’t going to be over by Easter, folks. Soon, if not already, those horses will run together.
Wouldn’t it be a grand thing for believers in Jesus to avoid what’s coming? Sure, we can help our neighbors, share toilet paper, obey the authorities, sew masks for first responders, make our friends laugh on Face Book, and so on. These are good. Me, I’m responsible to give a witness. Response it up to the hearers.
Whoever gets my Bibles will have a leg up on trying to figure out what happened if, in the space and time of this plague, billions of Christians disappear. They’ll figure out how to rob an empty house of guns and meds, but I pray the black market for Bibles will result in many being swept into the kingdom. Shoot, there’s enough Tim LaHaye stuff to survive any official purges of Christian books. They’ll figure it out. My prayer now is that folks will recall the faithful words of any Christian witness during their lifetime, however feeble.
No charge for this bit. As with the original Resurrection Day, Passover begins on a Wednesday evening. What if’s time for “something completely different?” The world is expecting a return to “normal” at some point in 2020. I’m thinking it won’t.

BARRY!

The coronavirus is nothing compared to what will happen during the 2nd half of the great tribulation. Hundreds of millions if not billions will perish.....We have been seeing the beginning signs of the end times now for many many years. But many things or events must first happen and be set into motion beforehand corresponding to the predictions within Book of Revelation.......One world govt, mark of the beast, appearance of the anti-Christ and all of the rest.

During WW2 many thought Hitler was the anti-Christ. Nope!
