Here's my refinished 77/22. The barrel channel has been relieved, three point glass bedded and a Rifle Basix trigger. Groups originally about 3/4" @ 25 yards. Now much better: 1 Stingers 2 Fed 510 3 CCI SV 4 CCI Velocitors two fouling shots fired before each group.

This may gross some of you out but..........after I built up enough oil on the stock, I polished it out with a combination of cigarette ashes and mineral oil. It's quick and fairly gentle, leaves no scratches. After the oil hardens a little more I'll do the final touch-up. Ron

You do very nice work...I would not be posting pictures as you might find yourself with a new "part time" job.
your posted groups certainly are the reward for your efforts.

When you know what initiated the refinish you may not think as highly of my gunsmithing skills. When I did the glass bedding I apparently missed covering some action area with release agent. When I removed the action a piece of the stock, between the bolt handle and the forward end of the receiver, splintered off. I repaired the stock with Acra Glass, but the repair was obvious. Had to refinish the entire stock from scratch.

I have a correction to make, with apologies. I just revisited this post and noticed something strange about the posted groups. They are all at the same elevation and POI. Checked my range notes and found I posted the wrong target. All those groups are Stingers!! I'm surprised someone didn't call me on it. Sorry!

A golf course is a sad misuse of a perfectly good rifle range.
