For one guy moving through a house mostly by himself, a 16” gun isn’t as much of a hindrance as you’d think. At least IME. A shorter gun is easier, but certainly not necessary.

Blue, thanks for the that. Time for some practice when the family is out of the house.

Jerry, I was getting at the point that its going to be loud regardless of barrel length, but point taken.

And 40O the Sig looks fun but I'm keeping pistol rounds in my glocks. I prefer the extra velocity.

Blue at house distances do you notice any difference in speed of use with the short guns over say a 14.5 inch barrel? I kind of think a LW 14.5 inch barreled weapon with your ear pro right next to it might work ok, streamlight weapon light, aimpoint red dot, but what ammunition? Not sure the 75 or 77's are needed at 10 ft.

I haven’t put an SBR and 16” gun on a timer back to back.

I’m theory the shorter gun would be quicker but at house distances targets would also theoretically be larger and easier to hit, so the advantage may be negligible. I dunno. One way to find out.

I don’t know about ammo. I just shoot what they give me.
